Current Skincare Products

I started my beauty channel to show my experience with Obagi Nu-Derm products. I was so pleased with my results and I always recommend Obagi products. To see my Obagi experience go to my channel youtube.com/mrssarahmarie55.

Since then I have used several different products. I love the Obagi line but I couldn’t use it while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. So for those 2 years I experimented with other products. I really don’t need an aggressive skincare routine anymore because I am happy the results from Obagi. Now I just try to maintain and preserve my skin. I was recommended Vivier Skin by my skincare specialist and I decided to try it. I bought my kit from http://www.lovelyskin.com/o/vivierskin-dry-sensitive-skin-system. The kit I bought was pretty good, but I really didn’t notice any difference. I started swapping some products and I’ve found some new favorites. This product by PCA Skin is AMAZING http://www.lovelyskin.com/o/pca-skin-c-quench-antioxidant-serum. I noticed my skin was soooooooooo soft after using it. I will definitely be re-purchasing it. Next I started using a different eye cream from SPA COM. I use it at night because it’s greasy, but WOW it works great. And of course I use my Retin-A every other evening.

Watch my video to hear more and see the products I’ve been using.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013!

IMG_0281 IMG_0283 IMG_0301 IMG_0303

Another Christmas has come and gone. It’s amazing how the Holidays just creeeeeeeep up on everyone and before you know it, your running around Wal Mart looking for the last can of Sweetened Condensed Milk. I don’t like to procrastinate, while Tom does it naturally. I had all the gifts planned out before Thanksgiving! I like to buy what I can online because you usually save money that way. I also bought a few personalized gift items and those took time to arrive. There is nothing better than the feeling of accomplishment and I think I’m feelin’ it. All the kids received SO many gifts, it was insane! We had to pause in the middle of opening to clear out some of the paper because the baby was starting to disappear under it.

You spend all this time decorating for Christmas and then it just comes and goes so quickly. Now it’s time to take down the lights and the tree 🙁 ah its sad. Decorations are so pretty and I have fun putting them up. But it’s another year completed and on to 2014. I’ve never been happy to see a year come to an end. It makes me feel old. I don’t like feeling old. Last year Audrey was just 3 months old for Christmas. She was bald and adorable in her polka dot dress. She slept while her grandpa walked laps around the house with her. This year she was a wild, teething toddler with mood swings. She hasn’t been friendly because her first tooth JUST popped out this week and she’s been in pain. All Audrey wanted for Christmas was her 2 front teeth. Well she got 1 of them and I’m sure a bunch more are just going to pop up at once. I’m bummed that she was cranky while all our family was here to visit. She’s usually a pleasant baby to everyone, even strangers. I just want my happy baby back. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I hope you all got everything you needed and wanted. We get to purchase a water softener tomorrow with the gift cards we received. And I also have a purse on it’s way to me YAY!

Our Gift Wrapping 2013

IMG_0109 IMG_0110

I love wrapping presents. Actually I love giving them too! I look as the wrapping as part of the gift and that is why I love to make them fancy. This year I got this beautiful metallic, embossed paper at Marshall’s for $3.99/roll. It’s a harder paper to wrap with because it’s more like tin foil than paper. The kids have pink and green wrapping and the adults have silver and blue. I also used tulle on the kids gifts because I had some left over from Audrey’s birthday party. Instead of a bow I put pink poms on the gifts. If you guys need some help wrapping presents, here is a video tutorial I filmed last year.

Fashion Friday!

IMG_0078IMG_0080

This is my first fashion Friday post! I bought these pants from Forever 21 after wanting them for over 8 months. They are very comfortable and they look good on average body types. I was worried they would make me look fat, but they are nice. I ordered a size 28 when I usually wear size 27. They were only $22.80 http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=bottom_jeans&ProductID=2078390508&VariantID=

The crew neck top is from Nordstrom Rack. I mentioned these shirts in my November Favorites

The shirts are great because they are 100% pima cotton. If you don’t know different cotton types do a quick search and you’ll find out so much info. The shirt was $12.95.

The shoes are also from Nordstrom rack. They are Dolce Vita brand and SO comfy. I can wear them all day. They are black suede and I think they were $69?
